From Coach Jones
My name is Da'Saun Jones, and my journey in basketball has shaped my passion for helping athletes achieve their full potential. As a former Division 2 walk-on at Goldey-Beacom College, I know firsthand the challenges of being lightly recruited out of high school and the work it takes to earn everything on the court. My experience—spending countless hours in the gym and navigating the confusing recruiting process—has driven me to create The Athlete Unlimited.
I've been fortunate to contribute to the basketball community in many roles: from head coach of the JV team at Havre de Grace High School (2015-2019) and varsity assistant coach (2015-2021), to assistant coach of the Harford Fighting Owls Men’s Basketball Team (2019-2023), and now as the Associate Head Coach of the West Nottingham Academy Boys National Team, while also serving as the Director of Admissions.
My vision for The Athlete Unlimited is to be a leader in empowering student-athletes across all sports to reach their athletic dreams and gain access to free education through sports. I believe that the qualities learned in sports—discipline, drive, desire, and the will to be great—translate to lifelong success. Through The Athlete Unlimited, I aim to set athletes up not only for athletic achievements but also for success in life well beyond their playing years.
